Ponte11
Delete Your Account
You may request at any time the deletion of your Ponte11 account and the associated personal data. This page explains how to initiate the request, how we verify your identity, what happens during the process, and what information may lawfully be retained.
1. How to request deletion
You may use any of the following ways. You do not need to reinstall the application to request it by email.
From the application
If you are still able to sign in:
- Open Ponte11 and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Deactivate or delete account.
- Select Delete account and confirm the request.
By email
Write from the email associated with your account to info@fortgest.com with the subject "Delete Ponte11 account". State that you wish to permanently delete your account.
If you no longer have access to the registered email, explain the situation in the message. We may request additional information strictly necessary to verify that you are the account owner. We will never ask for your password.
2. Verification and security
Before deleting an account we must reasonably verify the identity of the person making the request, to prevent someone else from erasing your data without authorization. Verification will be proportionate, and the information provided will be used solely to manage and document the request.
We may ask for confirmation from the associated email, basic account information, or other reasonable evidence. If we cannot verify your identity, we will explain what additional information we need or why we cannot complete the request.
3. 30-day recovery period
When we confirm the request, the account is deactivated for a maximum of 30 days. During that period it is not used to provide the Service, and you cannot claim or redeem coupons.
You may cancel the deletion and recover the account by signing in again during that period, where this option is available, or by contacting us. When the 30 days end, the deletion is processed permanently and cannot be undone.
This period does not make deactivation a substitute for deletion: it is a limited safety window before the definitive erasure.
4. What we delete
Once the recovery period ends, we delete or anonymize the account-associated data that is no longer necessary:
| Category | Usual outcome |
|---|---|
| Account and profile: name, email, phone, and user identifier | Deleted or unlinked irreversibly |
| Preferences, interests, searches, and followed merchants | Deleted or anonymized |
| Claimed coupons, wallet, and associated history | Deleted or anonymized, except where retention is justified |
| Account-associated location | Deleted or unlinked, except for minimal records subject to a valid exception |
| Notification token and preferences | Deleted or invalidated; notifications associated with the account are stopped |
| Technical data linked to the account | Deleted, aggregated, or unlinked when no longer necessary |
We also request our providers to delete the associated personal data they process on FORTGEST's behalf, in accordance with our agreements and their technical deletion cycles.
5. Information that may be retained
We may retain only minimal information when necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent or investigate fraud and abuse, protect security, resolve a dispute, or exercise and defend claims.
| Limited information | Reason and handling |
|---|---|
| Record of the request and its handling | To evidence compliance and manage complaints |
| Minimal security or anti-fraud records | To prevent abuse and protect the Service |
| Information subject to a legal order or obligation | To comply with the obligation for the required period |
| Backups | Remain isolated until their secure rotation and are not used for ordinary operations |
Retained data is blocked or has restricted use, is not used for marketing, and is deleted or anonymized when the reason that justified keeping it ends.
6. Data stored on your device
Deleting the account does not guarantee that all local files on the phone disappear immediately. To remove remaining session, preferences, and cache, log out where possible and delete the Ponte11 data from the device settings or uninstall the application.
Uninstalling Ponte11, by itself, does not delete your account or existing data on our systems; you must use one of the ways in section 1.
7. Timing, confirmation, and help
We will process the request within the applicable period and inform you when it has been completed or if there is a legal reason to retain limited information. The period may depend on verification, the recovery period, and each jurisdiction's obligations.
If you have difficulties or wish to exercise other rights — access, correction, portability, objection, or restriction — write to info@fortgest.com with the subject "Privacy — Ponte11".
